You will not need to load a web browser every time to log into SecuRemote. Simply start the application you wish, such as IDX or GroupWise. SecuRemote may prompt you for your logon ID and password if you have not already authenticated yourself.
SecuRemote has two time-out features. The first is an inactivity time-out of one hour. If the workstation does not communicate to the Emory Healthcare network within any one hour period, the next communication will prompt an authentication window. The second is an 8 hour time-out, inactive or not. This is to help prevent unauthorized access to the Emory Healthcare network.
Please call the Emory Healthcare Call Center at (404) 778-HELP if you need assistance.
